Lumea Audit Features Update (Maine)

The following Lumea Audit features, scheduled to be implemented May 1, 2014, will be available to districts by Friday, May 16, 2014. Thank you for your patience.  Lumea sessions will be audited prior to posting based on the recommendations of MSB and the direction from your school district. These audit features are being implemented to ensure your district is in compliance with MaineCare regulations. Lumea service providers will need to document the following prior to submitting/posting a session (unless your school district has given authorization to not implement these audit features):

  1. Progress towards short and long term goals: All service providers required to document student progress towards short/long term goals in every session will need to do so prior to posting a session. (Speech providers may be exempt dependent on your district’s previous response.)
  2. A description of the service delivered: All service providers will either need to include a narrative for a description of the service within each session or will need to select from a list of activities.

To assist you with these changes, please review this User Guide which will provide clear instructions for your service providers. Please contact your Program Specialist with any questions.
