It is that time of year again! Each year, the Maine Department of Education reviews the current form set, and makes any necessary revisions. All revisions for the year typically take effect on August 1st. MSB™ has worked closely with the department, and is grateful for the opportunity to do so, to ensure the transition to the updated documents is as smooth as possible for our districts.
This year, three forms related to the evaluation process were approved for revision and are now live in Adori™ and can be accessed in Evaluations. These forms are:
- Parental Consent to Evaluate
- Speech Eligibility Form
- Severity Rating Scale
In all three cases, the updated forms were intended to replace the existing forms. This means you will not have to look for – or decide between – a previous version and the new version. Just click on the form as you normally do and it will be correct! As always, you can verify that you have the correct form by locating the effective date in the footer of the last page of the document.
The Maine Department of Education also has a recorded presentation, which is less than 30 minutes in length, which explains the details of the revisions. Click here to view the DOE presentation.
If you have any questions about how to access the new forms, or historical versions, please contact your Program Specialist – Patricia Tetreau or Jason Black – for more information!
