October 4, 2016,

September is already in the rear view mirror! (MA)

We know you’re busy so we wanted to remind you to make sure September sessions have been posted.

We encourage you to run the Lumea Unposted Sessions Summary Report and the Service Provider Records Report  for September to ensure your practitioners are logging and posting their sessions, enabling your district to maximize direct service claiming.

It is also important to be reminded that if you are including service providers on the quarterly Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) participant list and classifying them as either Job Pool 1 or Job Pool 3, they should also be documenting the delivery of actual direct, IEP ordered services to justify their inclusion on the RMTS list.  In addition, if you have service providers that are documenting IEP ordered services in Lumea, they should also appear on the RMTS list for the corresponding quarter.

In addition to running the above referenced reports, please review Student ID Verification.  Any students still listed to be verified (“pending”) will not be processed for Medicaid Reimbursement.  If providers have added students directly to the database, and you have not yet reviewed them to change them from pending to active, there will be a red number on the Student ID Verification administrative menu.

If you have any questions, please contact a member of your Massachusetts team.
