We’ve updated the Summary of Performance document, and have placed it in the IEP Forms list. Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) Program
Many New Hampshire school districts are receiving correspondence from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) indicating that the agency is making a “PERM – Initial Request for Medical Records.” This request is the initiation of a federal audit for school Medicaid reimbursements that public school districts have received pursuant to school Medicaid reimbursement programs. Please be aware if your school district has recently received one of these letters, they are legitimate, and your attention is required. These are real federal audits of Medicaid that occur every couple of years or so and select random Medicaid providers, like schools. [Read more…]
