Below are some Vermont fall start-up reminders and due dates for the 2016-2017 school year:
We’ve always allowed the activation of approved IEPs when they were printed, regardless of who printed them. This posed some issues because it was common for Case Managers to print an IEP once they received the email that it had been approved. Once the approved IEP was activated, it was removed from the approved IEP list under IEP Management. This meant it was off the radar of the administrator who was tasked with printing and mailing it home.

Generally, MSB™ requests District Contact Information during our Fall Start Up process. This year, we are requesting this information earlier so we can coordinate district training needs moving into the summer and early fall. Our goal is to schedule any necessary Administrative trainings for all MSB products and Medicaid policy over the summer, so that we focus our attention on your Providers’ training needs during the upcoming Fall Start Up.
We have improved our process for collecting district contact information this year to save you time. You may now submit your district contact information directly from the District Information Form in our Resource Center. We have eliminated the need to download a form and fax/email/mail it to us. If you would prefer to download a copy and send it to us, you will still be able to do that as well.
Please fill out your district’s contact information, even if there are no anticipated changes, by June 30. If you are aware of a pending change to an administrative position, but you currently don’t know who will be filling that role, please note “new contact” in the appropriate slot on the Information Form. Your Program Specialist will follow up with you to ensure that, once the position has been filled, we can coordinate product and policy trainings as appropriate.
